TARISA VERIFY

Evidence, before the money moves.

Independent checks on the people, documents, property and progress behind a decision. You see exactly what will be checked — and what will not — before you pay a cent.

Almost always at the same four moments.

Before a deposit

An agent, a builder or a seller has asked for money, and something about it is moving faster than you are comfortable with.

Before a milestone payment

The slab is supposedly done, the photographs look right, and you are about to release the next tranche on the strength of them.

When something stops adding up

Progress reports arrive but the details keep shifting. Or they stop arriving. Or the number keeps changing.

When you cannot be there

The decision is fine. You just have no way of seeing it yourself, and you would rather not ask a relative to become a site supervisor.

The decision first. The evidence after.

Every TARISA report opens with one of four positions, in plain language, on the first page.

  • Clear — nothing in scope gave us cause for concern.
  • Proceed with conditions — you can go ahead, and here is specifically what to secure first.
  • Pause for more evidence — we found something that needs answering before you commit.
  • Do not proceed — we found something serious, and here it is.

Then, in this order: what was checked and how; what we verified as fact; what the provider told us, labelled as their claim; professional opinion, attributed to the professional who gave it; exceptions and anything that could not be observed; the limitations of the whole exercise; the date, and how long the findings can reasonably be relied on.

What verification is, and what it is not.

We take this seriously enough to put it on the page rather than in the footnotes.

Verification reduces uncertainty. It is not insurance. We stand behind the competent performance of the checks we agreed to carry out. We do not, and cannot, guarantee a provider’s future conduct, workmanship or completion of a project.

A check is a point in time. A company verified in March can fail in September. Statuses carry dates and expiry for exactly this reason.

A competent inspection cannot see everything. Concealed and latent defects exist. A report states what could not be observed, and why.

We do not certify beyond competence. A trained field officer can prove presence and capture evidence. Judging structural work, quantities, title or legal validity requires a registered professional, and only a registered professional signs it.

If we fail you, we own it. If TARISA omits an agreed check, misreports evidence or fails its own stated method, we investigate, correct or reperform the work, and apply the remedy in your engagement terms. Our terms do not attempt to excuse fraud, deliberate misconduct or our own negligence.

We will not promise a speed that would weaken the evidence. If a record office is slow or a site is unreachable, we will tell you that rather than filing something thin on time.

Tell us what you are deciding.

The consultation costs nothing. We will tell you which check answers your question, what it costs, how long it takes and what it will not cover — and if no check we sell will actually help you, we will say that too.
