LAUNCH CATEGORIES

Four categories. Harare and the corridors around it.

We would rather be genuinely useful in four categories than thin across forty. Here is exactly where we are live, what each category covers, and what is not open yet.

Live now

Building and construction

New residential builds, extensions, renovations and remedial work. Main contractors, and the trades we have checked underneath them — bricklaying, roofing, plastering, plumbing, electrical.

Checks available: identity · premises · trade registration where claimed · sampled past projects
Common paired service: Technical inspection at milestones

Borehole drilling and water

Siting, drilling, casing, pump installation, tank and reticulation work. This category attracts more disputes than any other in our pilot, mostly around depth, yield and what a quotation actually includes.

Checks available: identity · premises · equipment sighted · sampled past sites
Common paired service: Focused verification of the quotation before deposit

Solar and power

Domestic and small commercial solar — panels, inverters, batteries, backup systems. Quotations in this category are unusually hard for a buyer to compare, and specification substitution after payment is the frequent complaint.

Checks available: identity · premises · supplier and warranty claims · sampled installations
Common paired service: Focused verification of specification and quotation

Selected property services

Not property listings — we do not sell property and we are not an estate agent. This category covers the services around a property decision: surveying, conveyancing referral, valuation referral, property maintenance and management.

Checks available: identity · professional registration confirmed with the issuing body · premises
Common paired service: Property and provider due diligence

A note on property. TARISA does not act as an estate agent and does not hold client funds. Where a property transaction needs a registered estate agent, a legal practitioner or a registered valuer, we refer to one and say so. Our role is the independent evidence around the decision, not the transaction itself.

What we are deliberately not doing.

These categories are on the roadmap. None of them is open, because none of them yet has enough checked, responsive providers to give you a real choice.

  • Agriculture and farming inputs
  • Vehicle and equipment procurement
  • Interior fit-out and furniture
  • Landscaping and irrigation
  • Fencing and security installation
  • General household services

If you need one of these now, tell us anyway. We track requests by category, and demand is one of the three things that decides what opens next.

Three things have to be true before a category opens.

1

Enough credible providers

At least forty provider commitments in the category, checked and responsive — not forty names in a spreadsheet.

2

A verification method that works

Every category needs a defined way to check it, and qualified reviewers who can. We will not market a category we cannot verify.

3

Real demand

Requests from real buyers with real decisions, not a hunch about market size.

Harare first.

Live now: Harare, and the corridors around it — Borrowdale, Mount Pleasant, Glen Lorne, Chisipite, Ruwa, Norton, Goromonzi and Domboshava.

Work outside this area is quoted case by case, with travel shown separately. Bulawayo opens when Harare meets its coverage, response and verification gates — not before.
