ZIMBABWE · DISCOVERY TO DECISION TO DELIVERY
Discover credible options. Verify what matters.
Finding a provider in Zimbabwe is hard. Knowing whether to trust one is harder — especially from four thousand miles away. TARISA does both: curated discovery of credible providers, and independent evidence before you commit money and while work is under way.
Harare and surrounding corridors · Construction, boreholes, solar, property · Independent of every provider we list
A referral is not evidence.
Most decisions in Zimbabwe still run through WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages, classifieds and a cousin who knows someone. That gets you a phone number. It does not tell you whether the company exists, whether the person quoting is who they say they are, whether the stand is what the photographs show, or whether the slab you just paid for was actually poured.
Money released against work that has not happened
Progress photographs are easy to recycle. Ours are captured on site, on a stated date, with the metadata intact.
A purchase that was never what it appeared to be
Deeds, agents, boundaries and the physical stand rarely get checked together. We check them as one file.
Work that passes at a glance and fails later
A photograph cannot judge a foundation. A registered professional can, and signs their name to it.
Oversight that falls to family
A relative doing site visits carries the emotional weight and none of the professional accountability. We take the visits; you keep the relationship.
One company. Two engines. One standard between them.
TARISA DISCOVER
Curated discovery
We recruit and check providers category by category, rather than opening the doors and hoping. Every profile shows what has been checked, by whom and when — and what has not. You get several credible options and the information to choose between them, not a list of two hundred names in no particular order.
TARISA VERIFY
Independent evidence
When the decision carries real money, browsing is not enough. We check identity, credentials, documents, the physical asset and current progress — then tell you plainly whether to proceed, proceed with conditions, pause, or walk away.
The two are connected commercially and separated operationally. A provider can pay for a better profile. No provider can pay for a better finding.
Five ways to get evidence.
Start with the smallest check that answers your question. Most people do.
| Service | What it answers | From |
|---|---|---|
| Focused verification | Is this person, company, quotation or claim real? | US$125 |
| Property and provider due diligence | Should I put money into this property or this company? | US$450 |
| Technical inspection | Is the work at this milestone acceptable? | US$350 |
| Project monitoring | Is my project actually progressing? | US$250/month |
| Enterprise assurance | Can our customers get this as part of our service? | US$12,000/year |
Four steps, and you know the scope before you pay.
1
Tell us the decision
Not the task, the decision. A deposit on Thursday is a different job from a general check on a builder. A short consultation establishes the asset, the value, the urgency and anything that already looks wrong.
2
We scope it in writing
What will be checked. What will not. Who will do it and what they are registered to do. The fee, the turnaround target and the limitations. You approve it before anything starts.
3
We gather the evidence
Field officers establish facts and capture evidence. Registered professionals give technical opinions in their own discipline. Every file keeps its original, its timestamp and its capture data.
4
You get a decision, then the evidence
The report opens with one of four positions — clear, proceed with conditions, pause for more evidence, or do not proceed — and then shows you exactly what it rests on, including what could not be observed.
Nobody buys a good result here.
The moment verification can be purchased, it is worth nothing — to the buyer who relied on it, to the honest provider who was outranked, and to us. So we wrote the rules down and published them.
- Providers cannot purchase a positive verification outcome. Membership buys profile features and network access. It does not buy a status, a badge or a review.
- Advertising is labelled, and it is excluded from organic ranking and from every verification decision.
- Inspectors declare conflicts on every case, and high-risk cases are second-reviewed or reassigned.
- Every status carries its scope, its date and its expiry. Verified never means guaranteed.
Four situations we see most.
Buying property from abroad
You have found a stand or a house and the agent wants a deposit. Before it leaves your account, you want the people, the records and the physical asset checked together.
Building remotely
The build is under way and you are approving milestone payments off photographs sent by the contractor. You want someone independent standing on the site.
Funding a family project
Solar, a borehole, a renovation, a small enterprise. You want accountable milestones and evidence, without turning every phone call into an interrogation.
Choosing a provider at home
You are in Zimbabwe and you simply want several credible options in one place, with the checks behind each one visible.
We would rather be honest than look bigger.
TARISA is running a closed pilot. We are live in Harare and the surrounding corridors, in construction, boreholes, solar and selected property services. We are deliberately not opening categories we cannot yet fill, because a search that returns nothing useful is worse than no search at all.
Verify is operating now and takes cases today. Discover is running concierge-led: you tell us what you need, and we come back with credible options we have actually checked.
Before the deposit leaves your account.
Tell us what you are deciding and by when. We will tell you which check answers it, what it costs, and what it will not cover — before you commit to anything.
No charge for the initial consultation. Scope and fee confirmed in writing before any work starts.
