Money goes in monthly. Photographs come back weekly. The photographs look like progress. Six months later you find out the progress and the photographs were only loosely connected — and the money is gone.
Monitoring breaks that pattern by putting an independent person on the site on a known schedule, with a defined evidence protocol, reporting to you rather than to the contractor.

What is included, and where monitoring stops.
A structure, not a stream of photographs
- A written monitoring scope. Milestones, visit frequency, what is captured at each visit, what triggers an escalation to you, and how long it runs — all agreed before anything starts.
- Scheduled visits. Typically monthly, more often around critical milestones. Frequency is set by the project, not by the package.
- A consistent evidence protocol. The same shot list, from the same positions, every visit. That is what makes progress comparable rather than merely visible. Originals retained with timestamps and capture data.
- Milestone status. Not started, in progress, complete or disputed — against the programme you gave us, not the contractor’s account.
- Exception escalation. Work not matching the programme, materials substituted, a site standing idle — you hear it when we see it, not in the monthly report.
Where monitoring stops
- Monitoring is not site management. We do not instruct the contractor, run the programme or make decisions on your behalf. We observe and report; you decide.
- Monitoring is not continuous supervision. We are there on a schedule. What happens between visits is captured at the next one, and that is the honest limit of it.
- Monitoring is not technical sign-off. Recording that a slab was poured is a factual observation. Judging whether it was poured correctly requires a technical inspection.
- Monitoring is not a payment guarantee. We do not hold, release or control your project funds. Our reports give you the evidence to decide. The decision and the transfer remain yours.
- Monitoring cannot recover money already spent. It works forward. If you are already in difficulty, say so and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right service.
